(Thank you Miss Norma Jean and a beautiful job
Oh that's a pretty song Private Little World
Well right now we wanna introduce an old boy to you
I could stand out here and say a lotta nice things about this ole boy
But I'm not gonna lie to you folks no sir no I'm only kidding you
He's one of the greatest entertainers
And he comes from right out of the heart of the Ozarks
Boys turn him loose over there
Speck Rhodes
Thank you Porter and hidee Folks
Doggone there's a nice lookin' crowd out there ain't it Porter
Oh this is a fine group you bet you
I reckon it is
I'm reallly happy to be here I drove up here today in my little sports car
Oh did you
Yeah you know I got me one of these little foreign cars
With a gear shift in the floorboard
Yeah
The kind I used to drive you know
And I ain't been used to drivin' with that gear shift down there
And the first night I got it my girlfriend Sadie in the car with me
And we started out Lover's Lane you know and we's windin' around through the hills
And I reached over to shift the gears
She slapped my face and said smartalec you just shifted my knee into second
The first night I had this thing I was goin' down the street there in Nashville
And it was real busy you see
And I was in this traffic and there was a good lookin' blonde
And she had a little yellow convertible and she was right in front of my car
And she was just a dartin' in and out of traffic just like that
And I was just dartin' in and out of traffic right behind her
And we come to a stop light and it just went stop all at once
And that girl throwed the brakes on on that car
And just stopped dead still right in front of me
I like to hit her yes sir
I bet you I wadn't that fer from her bumper when I got my car stopped
Sittin' there waitin' for the light to change and I reached over
And shoved my cigarette lighter in and that girl said whop
This is this is my year friend
The sports cars and the girls and their short tight dresses
I'll declare to my time if it don't beat all I ever saw
I wished I could see more
But I'll declare you know everybody's a wearin'
These women are wearin' these short dresses
I saw one down on the square here today
She was walkin' around the square and she had on a dress that fit her so tight
Looked like she was melted and poured in it and forget to say when
she said it was her comin' out dress
I said by nib you like made it too you know it
Yeah it's got me worried tho the women are wearin' these short tight dresses
And lower down up here and let 'em down up yonder it bothers me
I'm afraid in 10 or 15 years from now the women won't be a wearin' anything hardly
And it really bothers me because I'm afraid I won't be around then
Aw Speck that's fine boy you get younger every year man
That's the world's oldest teenager right there
He's a fine one
I'd like to do a song for you now
That I recorded not too awful long ago for the RCA Victor folks
One I hope you might like called Find Out)

Find out find out
After you find out how hard true love is to find
Then you'll come back and be happy with mine

Someone filled your darling's head with story
About how greener grass grows somewhere else
And so you're searching for that perfect pasture
I guess you'll have to find out for yourself

Find out find out...

After you have searched this whole world over
And found those fairy tales were not true
Then come on home and you will find me waiting
With open arms for only you

Find out find out...
