(Edwin R. Hawkins) « © '69 Edwin R Hawkins Music, ASCAP / U Catalog, ASCAP »
Oh happy day oh happy day
When Jesus washed when my Jesus washed
When Jesus washed my sins away
Oh happy day oh happy day
When my Jesus washed my sins away

He taught me how to watch and pray to watch and pray
Every hour and every day

Oh happy day oh happy day...

He gave me light that I might be I might be
He gave me light that I might see I might see

Oh happy day oh happy day...

HOW GREAT THOU ART

(Stuart K. Hine) « © '53 Manna Music, ASCAP »
Oh Lord my God when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made
I see the stars I hear the rolling thunder
Thy art throughout the universe displayed

Then sings my song my Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art how great Thou art
Then sings my song my Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art how great Thou art

When Christ shall come with shouts of acclamation
And take me home what joy shall fill my heart
Then I shall bow in humble adoration
And then proclaim my God how great Thou art

Then sings my song my Saviour God to Thee...
Then sings my song my Saviour God to Thee...

KING OF LOVE

(Harold Reid) « © '66 House Of Cash, BMI / Songs Of Universal, BMI »
Jesus came there he lay in a manger of hay
The angels sang the shepherds came they knew not what the future held
They only knew they were compelled from up above a baby born the king of love

He was a child he was the son he was a man among men
He was a prince he was a saint he was the king of love

Jesus grew he was a child he traveled far in distant lands
His earthly parents by the hand they missed him now he did not hide
He told them I must confide I was at my father's side

He was a child he was the son...

Jesus died the world was dark not a sound was there to hark
The breath was gone he hung his head but wait let us rejoice
For he has risen from the dead

He was a child he was the son...

ARE YOU WASHED IN THE BLOOD

(Elisha A. Hoffman) « © '56 David Smither Music, BMI / House Of Cash, BMI »
Have you been to Jesus fot the cleansing power
Are you washed in the blood of the lamb
Are your garments spotless are they white as snow
Are you washed in the blood of the lamb

Are you washed are in the blood
In the soul cleansing blood of the lamb
Are your garments spotless are they white as snow
Are you washed in the blood of the lamb

Lay saide the garments that are stained with sin
And be washed in the blood of the lamb
There's a fountain flowing for the soul unclean
Oh be washed in the blood of the lamb

Are you washed are in the blood...
[ piano ] Are you washed are in the blood...

DADDY SANG BASS

(Carl Perkins) « © '68 Cedarwood Publishing, BMI / House Of Cash, BMI »
I remember when I was a lad times were hard and things were bad
But there's a silver lining behind every cloud
Just poor people that's all we were tryin' to make a livin' out of black land dirt
We'd get together in a family circle singin' loud

Daddy sang bass mama sang tenor
Me and little brother would join right in there
Singin' seems to help a troubled soul
One of these days and it won't be long I'll rejoin them in a song
I'm gonna join the family circle at the throne
Oh no the circle won't be broken by and by Lord by and by
Daddy sang bass mama sang tenor
Me and little brother would join right in there
In the sky Lord in the sky
[ guitar ] I remember after work mama would call in all of us
You could hear us singing for a country mile
Now little brother has done gone on but I'll rejoin him in a song
And we'll be together again up yonder in a while

Daddy sang bass mama sang tenor...
In the sky Lord in the sky

LESS OF ME

(Glen Campbell) « © '65 Beechwood Music, BMI »
Let me be a little kinder let me be a little blinder
To the faults of those around me let me praise a little more
Let me be when I am weary just a little bit more cheery
Think a little more of others and a little less of me

Let me be a little braver when temptation bids me waver
Let me strive a little harder to be all that I should be
Let me be a little meeker with the brother that is weaker
Think a little more of others and a little less of me

Let me be when I am weary just a little bit more cheery
Let me serve a little better those that I am striving for
Let me be a little meeker with the brother who is weaker
Think a little more of others and a little less of me

Let me be a little meeker with the brother who is weaker
Think a little more of others and a little less of me less of me

THINGS GOD GAVE ME

(Don Reid) « © '69 House Of Cash, BMI »
The breeze through the window the light out at sea
The only things dear to me are the things God gave me
Are the things God gave me

The book that I'm reading the sounds that I hear
Are too near a mans world to give grace to my ear
To give grace to my ear

Man sings of goodness then forgets what he sung
He preaches thanksgiving then gives thanks to none
[ guitar ] Man sings of goodness...
The breeze through the window the light out at sea...

LED OUT OF BONDAGE

(R.L. Prather) « © '69 Peer International, BMI »
God promised to lead his children out of bondage
He said he'd free them from Pharaoh's evil hand
He said he'd guide and protect them on their journey
And lead them to the promised land

God's children were slaves in Egypt land
So God took Moses by the hand
He said Moses tell old Pharaoh to set 'em free
But Moses wanted a way to get out
Because in his mind he's beginning to doubt
And he said Lord old Pharaoh he ain't a gonna listen to me

Well the Lord said son throw down that rod
Old Moses did and he cried to God
Because it turned to a snake, as evil and wicked as sin
Then he cried again with an awful wail
And the Lord said seize him by the tail
Old Moses did and it turned to a rod again

God promised to lead his children out of bondage...

Well the Lord said Moses I've got power
And I'll be with you every hour
Said go tell Pharaoh to set my children free
Well Moses did but the Lord helped out
He sent a plague to the land about
So old Pharaoh told him he could go and let him be

They started out with a cloud that day
And a fire by night to lead the way
But old Pharaoh suddenly decided to change his mind
Well he gathered together his soldier band
Got all them chariots throughout the land
Said I'll let them Israelites go some other time

God promised to lead his children out of bondage...

Well they came to the banks of the ocean blue
They turned to Moses said what would we do
And Moses fell on his knees and there in the sand
The Lord said Moses trust in God
All you gotta do is just raise that rod
Over these mighty waters stretch your hand

Well Moses followed the Lord's command
The waters parted and there in the sand
They saw a path that led to the other shore
The ground was dry and they passed on through
And old Pharaoh's army thought they would too.
But the waters fell they ain't never been seen no more

God promised to lead his children out of bondage...
And lead them to the promised land

JUST IN TIME

(Lew DeWitt) « © '69 House Of Cash, BMI »
When I was low and needed help God took my burden
When I despaired and looked to him he took my hand
And through the corridors of fear he led me safely
Then suddenly I knew that I'd been born again

When I was down and deep in pain he sent an angel
When I had almost given up he made me see
And just in time he pushed me through my darkest hour
And gave me voice to sing aloud the victory

Just in time I found the way to sweet contentment
Tranquility completely fills my troubled mind
And not too late I found the way to joy unending
My Lord reached down to hand me mercy just in time

Just in time I found the way to sweet contentment
Tranquility completely fills my troubled mind
And not too late I found the way to joy unending
My Lord reached down to hand me mercy just in time
My Lord reached down to hand me mercy just in time

FOURTH MAN

(Arthur Smith) « © '60 Clay Music, BMI »
They wouldn't bend they held on to the will of God so we are told
They wouldn't bow they would not bow their knees to Idols made of gold
They wouldn't burn they were protected by the Fourth Man in the fire
They wouldn't bend they wouldn't bow they wouldn't burn

Now the prophet Daniel tells about three men who walked with God
Shadrach Meshach and Abednigo before the wicked king they stood
And the king commanded them bound and thrown into the fiery furnace that day
But the fire was so hot that the men were slain that forced them on their way

Now when the three were cast in and the king rose up to witness this awful fate
He began to tremble at what he saw in astonished tones he spake
Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire
Well Lo I see four men unhurt unbound and walkin' down there

There's Shadrach Meshach and Abednigo and the fiery coals they trod
And the form of the Fourth Man that I see is like the Son of God

They wouldn't bend they held on...
They wouldn't bend they held on...
