Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again

Roger Cook - Tony Instone - Roger Greenaway

© Cookaway Music, ASCAP

Here comes that rainy day feelin' again
And soon my tears will be fallin' like rain
It always seems to be a Monday
Left over memories of Sunday
Always spent with you
Before the clouds appeared and took away my sunshine

Here comes that rainy day fellin' again
And I'll be dreamin' of you baby in vain
Your face is always on my mind now
I'm hopin' soon you're gonna find now
Your way back to me
Cause if you say you'll stay the rainy days will go away

Misty morning eyes I'm trying to disguise the way I feel
(I just can't hide it)
People seem to know the loneliness must show
I'm thinkin' of my pride but breakin' up inside now
(Breakin' up inside now)

Here comes that rainy day feelin' again...

Here comes that rainy day feelin' again
(That rainy day feelin')
Here comes that rainy day feelin' again
(That rainy day feelin')
Here comes that rainy day feelin' again
(That rainy day feelin')
Here comes that rainy day feelin' again

I'll Be A Lady Tomorrow (But I'm Gonna Be Your Woman Tonight)

Peggy Forman

© Hello Darlin Music, BMI

Tonight is the first time that I've ever
Let my lips touch the lips of another man
But a woman can't take just so much of nothing
Then the weakness in her takes command

And it's been so long since I've had this feeling
So love me till I'm satisfied
Oh I'll be a lady tomorrow
But I'm gonna be your woman tonight

Tonight I feel like a woman should feel
And tonight all of me belongs to him
But tomorrow guilty conscience will find me
Lord knows what I'm doing ain't right
So I'll be a lady tomorrow
But I'm gonna be your woman tonight

Oh I'll be a lady tomorrow
But I'm gonna be your woman tonight

Don't You Ever Get Tired (Of Hurtin' Me)

Hank Cochran

© Pamper Music, BMI

You make my eyes run over all the time
You're happy when I'm out out of my mind
You don't love me but you won't let me be
Don't you ever get tired of hurting me

You must think I look bad with a smile
Oh you haven't let me wear one in such a long long while
Still I keep coming back how can this be
Don't you ever get tired of hurting me

You must think I look bad with a smile...
Don't you ever get tired of hurting me

Evil On Your Mind

Harlan Howard

© Wilderness Music, BMI

You say I need a rest why don't I go and see my sister way out west
That's very thoughtful of you dear I'm really touched by all this tenderness
But us women are suspicious things we know that men aren't born with wings
What's making you so kind uh
Now I'm not smart but I'm not blind I think that you got evil on your mind

You think that you've been good about as long as most red blooded he men could
We've been together for so long I know another pasture's looking good
Don't think that other men don't look at me that certain way from time to time uh huh
Don't think that you're the only one that must contend with evil on your mind

Your mind is in harem and surrounded by exotic dancing girls
You're hearing pretty music as they run their slender fingers through your curls
I thank you for the flowers and the candy honey that was very kind uh huh
Oh that's your way of telling me you're sorry for the evil on your mind
Oh that's your way of telling me you're sorry for the evil on your mind

Then Give Him Back To Me

Roger Bowling - Larry Butler

© Unart Music, BMI

Lately he's been doing things that scared me
Like getting home later than he should be
And the little something's missing when he holds me
Lately he's not acting like my man

Lord I know this man really loves me
But he's not sure and I think he's been looking
Could it be that he just needs remind me
Lately someone else is what he needs

Give him someone else Lord for just a little while a little awhile
Just longing up to show him where he wants to be
Give him someone else for just a little while a little awhile
Then Lord please give him back to me

I'm Sorry

Ronnie Self - Dub Albritten

© Champion Music, BMI

I'm sorry so sorry that I was such a fool
I didn't know love could be so cruel
You tell me mistakes or a part of being young
Oh but that don't right the wrong that's been done oh oh oh oh

I'm sorry so sorry please accept my apology
But love is blind and I was too blind to see
You tell me mistakes or a part of being young
Oh but that don't right the wrong that's been done oh oh oh oh

I'm sorry so sorry please accept my apology
But love was blind I was too blind to see (sorry)

Whoever Finds This I Love You

Mac Davis

© Screen Gems Music, BMI

On the quiet street in the city a little old man walked alone
Shuffling through the autumn afternoon
And the autumn leaves reminded him another summer's come and gone
Had a long lonely night ahead waitin' for June

Then among the leaves near the orphan's home a piece of paper caught his eyes
So he stooped to pick it up with trembling hands
As he read the childish writing the old man began to cry
But the words burned inside him like a brand

Whoever finds this I love you
Whoever finds this I need you
I ain't even got no one to talk to
So whoever finds this I love you

The old man's eyes searched the orphan's home and came to rest upon a child
With her nose pressed up against the window pane
And the old man knew he'd finally found a friend at last so he waved at her and smiled
And they knew they'd spend the winter laughing at the rain

And they did spend the winter laughing at the rain and talked through the fence
Exchangin' little gifts they've made for each other
The old man would carve toys to the little girl
And she'd draw pictures for him of beautiful ladies and of the green fields and sunshine
And they laughed a lot
But then on the first of June the little girl ran to the fence
But the old man he wasn't there
And somehow she knew that he was never comin' back
So she went back to her little room and took a paper and wrote

Whoever finds this I love you...
